Online Algebra 1 Tutor for High School & Middle School
Algebra 1 is the foundation to all of the high school math courses that your child takes, which include Geometry, Algebra 2, and PreCalculus. It is also a major portion of the SAT Math. I help students master Algebra 1 through virtual 1:1 sessions over Zoom or Google Meet, raising letter grades by one or two letters.

My approach
When introducing a new topic, I begin with a mini-lesson, a few examples, and up to three independent practice exercises. Throughout the lesson, I ask questions to check for understanding and make sure concepts are truly mastered, not just memorized. Every session is customized to your child's goals, pace, and weaknesses.
