Math 3 Tutoring
Online NC Math 3 Tutor for High School Students
Math 3 pulls together everything from Math 1 and Math 2 and adds polynomials, logarithms, and trigonometric functions. It is the last course before PreCalculus, and it overlaps heavily with the SAT. I help students master it through 1:1 virtual sessions over Zoom or Google Meet.

Polynomials
Factoring higher degree polynomials, long division, synthetic division, and end behavior
Rational & Radical Functions
Graphing rational functions, asymptotes, domain and range, and solving radical equations
Exponentials & Logarithms
Logarithm rules, solving exponential and logarithmic equations, natural logs, and growth and decay
Trigonometry & Statistics
Unit circle, sine and cosine graphs, transformations, and inference with sample data
My approach
When introducing a new topic, I begin with a mini-lesson, a few examples, and up to three independent practice exercises. Throughout the lesson, I ask questions to check for understanding and make sure concepts are truly mastered, not just memorized. Every session is customized to your child's goals, pace, and weaknesses.
